Every session begins with the concept — explained clearly, connected to what students already know, and illustrated with examples that make the abstract concrete. We never jump to formulas before the underlying idea is understood. This approach takes slightly more time upfront but saves enormous time later — because students who understand concepts can derive or reconstruct what they need, even under exam pressure.
Understanding a concept and solving an exam question based on it are two different skills — and both need to be developed. We spend significant time working through university exam-style questions, past papers, and problem sets that mirror what students will actually face in their semester exams.
